Sidney aka NMSS is an Afropean, Genderfluid artist born from the blend of French and Ivorian culture. Largely followed by the afro-descendant and queer communities, NMSS always surprises the audience with their high energy sets. This DJ/Producer based in Brussels proposes a rich universe oscillating between euphoric and dystopic atmospheres, travelling through time, countries and perspectives. Their captivating selection pushes boundaries of genres and embraces experimentation with a cheeky touch of humor. Sidney likes to explore Latin core, Techno, Hyperpop, Global Bass, Ghetto Tech, Bouyon, Hyper Ambient, Reggaeton and more to deconstruct the conventional script of a dj set. Emotion always comes first and it’s best served hot.

Between 2022 and 2023 NMSS played at Dour, Horst, Recyclart, Beurschouwburg, L’imprimerie and more to share the stage alongside Badsista, Two Shell, Lotic, Z@p, Safety Trance, Tatyana Jane, Le Kaiju and more. Sidney is now a resident at Kiosk radio but also plays occasionally on Refuge worldwide, Oroko radio, Noods radio, Lyl radio and more. They are a resident DJ for Call of Dirty, a queer anti techno-snobs collective organizing parties at C12. In 2019 they created their own label Flat Earth records to explore the bias of the human mind while making fun of conspiracy theories. During october 2023, NMSS released their last EP called “?” influenced by Post-Club, Detroit Electro, Ambient and Bass music. They also created with MikaMayonnaise the series of event Brussels All Stars Giant b2b, community oriented and caritative events pushing the boundaries of djing. Sidney organizes intimate parties with their collective Retina as an experimental hub. They are also part of the group Hard being hot with Emilja, Vera Moro and Stanislawa.
